have email problems!
If you are having problem sending or receiving emails using Outlook
Express, make sure your settings are correct. For POP accounts
both your incoming and outgoing (SMTP) mail servers will be mail.yourdomainname.com
You
can also access your email on the web from any computer by simply
doing the following www.yourdomainname.com/webmail. Please make
sure you enter your entire email address in the user name field.

Signed up Yesterday. Why Can't I Access my site?
Although your account is active on our servers, your new domain
name will not be activated until your information has been registered
with us. This can take from 24-48 hours for new domains including
existing domains that have changed their DNS name servers to point
to us. Until your account is fully propagated we have made it
convenient for you to access your Web site via your a temporary
address to upload your files in the mean time. This address can
be found in the setup letter that was sent to you. It's is critical
that you have the right DNS name servers as mentioned above. Here
they are again:
Name Server 1: NS1.NET-FORCE.CA
Name Server 2: NS2.NET-FORCE.CA
» Why
do I get a 404 error?
This simply means that the server has not found anything matching
what you requested. Make sure that the Web address (URL) that
you typed in exactly matches the address you were given. Check
that the capitalization matches, spelling, and punctuation, like
dots (.) and slashes (/), are correctly placed. Be sure you are
using the forward slash (/) and not the backward slash ().
» Why
am I getting an internal server error (500 error)?
"Internal Server Error. The server encountered an internal
error or misconfiguration..."
In
most cases this is due to poorly written code. Make sure that
any modules they are using are installed on our servers. Furthermore,
make sure whatever you are installing is compatible with Linux
servers. If they have libraries like use Win32::Winsock or something,
then internal errors will occur.
Make
sure that anything they are using that specifies server information
like an IP or hostname is correct.
One
common problem is file permission. Make sure when you have read
the readme files for the scripts you are uploading such as cgi
scripts. Most often the scripts not have the proper write permissions.
In order to change the permissions using a program such as CuteFtp
right click on the file that has been uploaded to the server and
select the option called “CHMOD”. This will allow
you to change the permissions and make your file executable and
or write-able after which your script will work, if you followed
the instructions properly. The script will execute as the user.

Step 1:
Open Cute FTP and choose File then New Site.

Click on the New Button (far bottom left).

Fill in the information requested. Host Address is ftp.yourdomainname.com
Enter your username and password.
Step

Ensure FTP port is set to 21 and click on the Edit button.
Step

Under the Login type check the normal tab,

Click the Connect button.

7:
Now that we have connected, select the files that you would like
to upload. Simply select the files you want to upload and drag
them over. Most files will go into your public_html file on the
server.
Dreamweaver
- Configuring FTP?
Step
1:
Open DreamWeaver MX. Click on Site and choose New Site.
Step
2:
Click on the Advanced Tab. For site name, enter a phrase that
describes your site. Dreamweaver will choose a local root folder
for you. Also, enter your HTTP address and click on the Remote
Info category.
Step
3:
Change Access to FTP. Then enter your FTP Host which is your domain
name. For Host Directory please type in public_html. Then enter
your login name and password.
Step
4:
Still on the same screen, place a check in Automatically upload
files to the server on save.
Step
5:
Click on the connect to remote site button.
Step
6:
Make sure the second drop down reads Remote View. You will see
a list of files in your public_html folder.
Step
7:
DoubleClick any file, edit it, and choose save. Dreamweaver will
automatically update it on the server.
Step
8:
Should you ever add images or other files that need to be upload,
select local view from the site drop down.
Step
9:
Select the files that need uploading and click the PUT button
(up arrow).

FrontPage 2002
Step 1:
Open your Frontpage Web.
Step
2:
Click File at the top and choose Publish Web.
Step
3:
Enter http:// followed by your domain name and click OK. Note:
Frontpage Extensions must be installed.
Step
4:
Type in your username and password and click OK.
Step
5:
On the next screen, click the Publish button.
Step
6:
Frontpage will notify you that the Web Site has been published
successfully.
Step
7:
When going to the site, you should be seeing your newly created
FrontPage Website.
